A tub price is not a complete system price
The Ritual range separates tub and chiller choices. At our 24 September 2026 check, the Stoic was listed from A$1,090 and the separate chiller range from A$3,650. Those starting prices do not establish that a particular tub and chiller are compatible, available or sold together.
List everything needed to operate it
Ask for a complete bill of materials: tub, lid, chiller if selected, hoses, fittings, pump, filters and any required treatment supplies. Confirm which parts are included and which are replacements or upgrades.
Compare effort alongside dollars
An ice-only approach involves sourcing ice and managing water. A powered system adds electricity, filter care, equipment servicing and possible repairs. Neither arrangement is maintenance-free. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and water-treatment instructions for the exact system.
Check the proposed location
Ask about shade, ventilation, clearance around the chiller, noise, drainage, full water weight and access for servicing. Obtain professional advice on structural support and electrical suitability where required. Ask your local authority whether any applicable water-safety requirements affect the installation.
Avoid buying on temperature claims alone
The lowest advertised temperature does not tell you what is appropriate for you. This is an equipment guide and does not prescribe immersion temperatures or durations. Get individual advice from a qualified health professional if you are unsure about suitability.
