Get the model-specific size guide
Ask for the sizing guide that applies to the exact boots on your shortlist. Follow the manufacturer’s measurement method rather than assuming clothing size will translate. If you fall between sizes, ask the supplier for a written recommendation.
Confirm the package
Check that the quotation includes every component required for the stated setup. A replacement pair of sleeves, a controller, an accessory and a complete system are different purchases. Record the model codes and included sizes in the quote comparison notes.
Ask about a demonstration
If a try-on or demonstration is available, check whether it uses the exact size and model. A short demonstration can help with fit and usability questions, but it does not establish that a product is medically suitable for you or that it will deliver a particular result.
Separate change-of-mind terms from faults
Before opening the packaging, ask what the retailer allows if the fit is unsuitable: unopened returns, used-product restrictions, exchange options, restocking costs and freight. Keep the answer. These voluntary arrangements are different from rights that may apply when a product is faulty; the ACCC explains consumer guarantees separately.
Keep the selection practical
Consider how easy the system is to put on, pack away and clean in your usual space. If fit or personal suitability remains uncertain, resolve that question first rather than relying on a discount deadline.
