Agree how the household will use it
Before comparing finishes, decide whether people intend to use the sauna together or at different times. A larger cabin is only useful if its internal seating, access and location work for the people using it. Ask for internal dimensions and a demonstration where possible; an advertised person count does not tell you how spacious it will feel.
Give each supplier the same brief
| Decision | What to record |
|---|---|
| Location | Indoor or outdoor position, photographs and the supplier’s permitted conditions. |
| Users | Who will use it, together or separately, and practical access requirements. |
| Access route | Doorways, gates, stairs, corners and the distance from the delivery point. |
| Installation | Exact model requirements and a written scope for delivery, assembly and electrical work. |
| Upkeep | Cleaning instructions, care schedule, service arrangements and who will manage them. |
Agree an installed budget before choosing upgrades
Keep the equipment price separate from delivery, installation, site preparation, electrical work and care costs. Ask each supplier to price the same scope at your address. If one quote excludes work, leave that item visibly unresolved instead of treating it as zero.
Found—Space’s published delivery and installation policy includes location-dependent fees. Confirm the exact contracting entity and terms shown on your quote as well as the final amount. Its current policy is a starting reference, not a substitute for a written quote.
Make upkeep part of the buying decision
Agree who will follow the manufacturer’s care instructions, arrange servicing and keep the warranty records. If nobody wants that job, compare using a suitable facility instead. A larger or more complicated setup is not automatically a better fit for a shared home.
Shortlist suppliers on the same basis
Use the sauna supplier comparison to start your shortlist, then use the quote comparison tool to record inclusions and unresolved costs.

Resolve the final installed price, delivery timing, access, relevant permissions and service arrangements. Installation suitability needs model-specific and, where appropriate, qualified professional advice. This is a purchasing checklist, not advice about whether sauna use is medically suitable for anyone in the household.
